I purchased your app and then got a refund for it. I may end up repurchasing but I wanted to try out other options first. The reason I refunded was because there is no option to setup an alarm/reminder for certain prayers. I think this would be a great new feature. If someone is going in for surgery at 10am tomorrow, you add the prayer and schedule a reminder for 20-30 minutes before hand. Stuff like that.

Great idea! We will incorporate that feature into one our next few releases. We are trying to release new updates every 2 weeks. Thanks for your time and suggestion.:)

Mick

We added scheduled alerts ("reminders") into our most recent release, which was posted to the Android Market on Feb 13, 2011. We hope it's helpful to you.

Best regards,

The reminder is great but to specific for what I want. I would like to see something more general. Something like every morning, every night, lunchtime. Or even just number of times a day and then let me pick those times.

Thanks! I have a few more feature ideas that I'll be posting later. But this is awesome and I have already used it many times.

Thank you for the specific prayer alarm. However I agree that there needs to be a general alarm as well and maybe a way to link to contacts.

Good idea. I can see what you mean by a general alarm. How would you want to link the alarm to contacts?

Debbie Krishner Ministries also has app called prayer journal on att market. You can import selected contacts to place on a rotation of 1-4 (maybe more) that pop up each day to be prayed for and you can text or call the contact from within the app to let them know you are praying for them. It's the only thing about her app I like. I like the way you track and export prayers much better so I use yours. Oh yes, she also has the kind of reminder I like, but I still prefer yours for its tracking ability.

I see what you mean - the ability to add recurring reminders for general topics (like, pray for a specific person). Sounds like something we could look at adding. We've already had requests to increase the reminder feature by adding repeating reminders to the existing one-time reminder. We'll see what we can do. thanks

What version?
I just download it from the market Ver(1.1.8) and I do not see this feature.

FYI - we have added recurring reminders to the next release. Look for it by the first week of September.

Hello - in the upcoming release you will be able to set a one-time or recurring reminder for any request, on an hourly, daily or weekly basis. So,you could have each person you are praying for have a different alert and day, so get a new person to pray for each day. It will be on the market by first week of Sept.
